Best of NYFW Street Style 2017
As NYFW winds to a close, all eyes are on the influencers, celebrities and bloggers as they showcase their favorite looks. Although the runways dictate the looks of the future seasons, these street looks inspire immediate copycats and wannabes. I have a whole folder on Instagram dictated to my favorite looks and prints, and my camera roll mostly consists of screenshots of these outfits (and memes...no shame). While most of the streets looks from this fall featured some form of houndstooth and grey plaid, the trend of the season, here are some standout looks.
One of my favorite bloggers by far, due to her transparent personality and down-to-earth character, rocked emerald green velvet from Racil on the streets of New York, prompting me to immediately seek out an exact replica of the jacket. Stick it to the witch of the west, girl, no one does green like you.
The best combination of houndstooth and plaid I have seen so far, Kayla mixed the prints into a stunning look that makes any other back-to-school outfit crumble. The Altuzarra pumps are sold out (sad) but somehow I WILL find a pair.
This editor in chief from @WHOWHATWEAR blew all other statement tops out of the water with this JWAnderson jacket. Statement tops are, and will continue to be, always in style.
Hues of pink continue to inspire us. We're all on a mad hunt for blazers, and this pink two piece leaves me swooning.
Not one to skip over a mono-noir look, I felt inspired after seeing Marianna pair the femme Jonathan Simkhai dress with black Yeezy boots. You just cannot go wrong with black.
