The Skincare Edit: Nighttime Routine
If anyone knew me in high school, they know that I was prone to breakouts and oily skin, just like most teenagers. As I got older, I drastically switched up my skincare routine, meaning that the days of splashing on water and sleeping with my makeup on are long over. Now, this doesn't exempt me from the regular PMS breakouts, but my skin has really turned a new page. Here, I share with you my nighttime skin routine. Click on the images to shop!
The Foreo was a Christmas gift and I have zero idea how I lived so long without it. It is easy on the skin, has different vibration options and is great to take to travel. I use the Nighttime Cleanser which came in the Foreo 'Ready to Glow' Skin Care Collection and my pores have never looked cleaner.
A friend gifted me the nightbright duo from Drunk Elephant, and it has been great! The package comes with two serums, T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum and Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil. I use the serum for my whole face and apply the oil on dry spots around my mouth, neck and hands.
An Instagram cliche, but oh so good, I continue with the Mario Badescu Facial Spray, with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater.I always use this right before my moisturizer, but also use it to set my makeup, if I wear any.
At night I use a heavier cream since I am not running around and sweating or touching my face really. I've tried many but Chanel's Hydra Cream (not the gel) has really brought justice to any lines or breakouts I've gathered throughout the day.
My mother always told me that she would never get Botox and its more important to be preventative when it comes to wrinkles. So, on the day I turned 22, I got eye cream and now apply it every single day.

I have found few spot treatments that actually work for me. So, I turned to a more alternative moved and now use Apple Cider Vinegar on my breakouts! Only use it on areas where you actually need it, especially if you have sensitive sin as it can dry you out a bit.
